Have you ever talked to God? I have. Lots
of time.
Iya, sebagai muslim, memang saya wajib
sholat 5 kali sehari. Dan sholat adalah kesempatan kita untuk berdoa, berbicara
pada Tuhan.
But it’s not just that. When I was a kid, I
used to wake up at night. I would open the curtain of my window, looked at the
sky, and whispered. “God? Are you still wake up? Listen, I want to tell you
this...”. And I would start talking. About things that I did. About my fear, my
happiness, my sadness.
Sampai sekarang, saya masih punya kebiasaan
itu. There are times when I look up to the sky, and whisper: “Hey there.
Something’s going here...”. Or sometimes I just smile and say: “Thanks! It’s
better than what I have I expected”. There are also times when I sigh, look at the sky, try
my best to smile and say: “So this is the thing that I would have to deal with
and get through, eh? Okay. I get it.”. And yes. There are times when I cry
silently, swallowing my tears. At these times, I still have the conversation.
Asking for help.
I know that God is there.
Watching me. Guarding me. Listening to me. Always.
Watching me. Guarding me. Listening to me. Always.
And that’s why I will always have those
conversation. My conversation with God.
Have you ever talked to God?
I have. Lots of times. It’s my needs. The
reason for me to keep walking. To keep on moving. To stay strong.
Itulah kenapa saya selalu suka melihat
orang berdoa. Apapun agamanya. Apapun ritualnya. Karena saya tahu, orang-orang yang
berdoa tengah berbicara, tengah berbincang dengan Tuhan.
