I'm sorry if any of you are getting sick to hear me talking about my supervisor, again and again... But I find this one quite hilarious that I just can't help it to write it here...
Jadi gini, as I've told you before, Christian is quite popular that lots of students are being under his supervision, either for a master thesis, Ph.D dissertation, or honours thesis. salah satu teman, sebut saja ABC juga being under his supervision. si ABC ini is soooo brilliant. I'll tell more about him in the next posting. Pokoknya mah, dia pinter. One of the best student in GES. Tapi, for some reasons, saya tidak begitu dekat dengannya. malah saya suka terintimidasi berada di dekat anak yang satu ini.
Nah, kalo saya kan konsul itu sistemnya per chapter. Lagian Christian bilang di awal dulu: "it would be better if while I'm reading your draft, you're working on another section of your thesis". Kalo si ABC, entah kenapa, beda. Dia langsung masukin draft dalam bentuk one whole thesis ke Christian untuk dikoreksi.
Kemaren, statusnya ABC di Facebook adalah sebagai berikut : "ABC is being too corporate in his thesis - need to tune it to academic audiences.". Ada komen dari temennya, which is not too important that I would not typed it here. Tapi yang pasti, ABC membalas komen temennya itu by saying this: "Thanks. My supervisor said the paper is very informative but it just that I structured it like a corporate report." TEPAT di bawah tulisan si ABC itu dooong, komen dari Christian langsung (which is indeed, as you can guess, ABC's supervisor): "Did he really say that, what a nerd he must be....?".
Saya langsung ngakak... Gee... This guy really has a sense of humour .
PS: Saya belum meng-add si supervisor ini di fesbuk. It would reveal to him that I spend more time on it instead of on my thesis .
